As always, the afternoon is built around unhurried reading time — settle in with whatever book you’re currently loving, no assigned reading required. It’s the kind of slow, social afternoon where you can lose yourself in a chapter, then look up and chat with the person next to you about it.

Throughout the afternoon, enjoy a spritz (non-alcoholic option available) and shared nibbles at Northside’s wine bar and garden.

This session comes with a special highlight: local author Lisa Moule will be joining us to chat about her debut novel The Mother of All Calamities, loosely inspired by the streets of Northcote itself. Expect a relaxed conversation and a few laughs,
