Sip & Design (Resident Only)

Join us for a laid-back evening of creativity, connection, and a splash of friendly competition. At our Sip & Design night, you’ll team up (or go solo) to design the next set of reusable community cups — the ones you’ll spot at future Folk events.

We’ll bring the materials, you bring the ideas. Think bold patterns, playful slogans, or something that captures the spirit of Folk living. Sip on something good while you sketch, chat, and get inspired by your neighbours.

At the end of the night, we’ll vote for our favourite designs, and the winning creation will be brought to life for everyone to enjoy.

Event Attendance Policy

To help us continue to create great events experiences, please only book a spot if you’re confident you can attend.

If you can’t make it, please cancel your ticket as soon as possible so another resident can join.

No-Show Policy

If you miss 3 events without cancelling within a month period, your booking access may be restricted. Those that have restricted access will only be able to book events 3 days after they are published for the following month.

Cancellations within 2 hours of the scheduled start time are classified as no-shows.This policy helps ensure events remain fair and enjoyable for everyone in the community.

Residents' Events at FOLK

Please note that to attend an event you must be a resident of Folk at the Palm House at the time of the event.

Please note that we may take pictures at the events that will be used for marketing purposes, and that by attending you give your consent to be photographed and featured. Please let us know on the day if you don't want to feature in any photos.

We may charge a nominal ticket fee for some events, when either a) the event has limited capacity and we want to encourage attendance, or b) the event offers value beyond our standard events, such as a food and drink element, travel, or access to an elevated experience. All ticket revenue from the nominal fee is reinvested back into making your event programme as exciting and diverse as possible.
