Sip and Support : Shoebox Niagara Edition

This year The Shoebox Project Niagara hopes to provide gifts to ALL 1200 women accessing programs through their supported shelters a gift this year. With the help of the people and businesses in Niagara, we believe we can do it!

For women who have been displaced from their homes and estranged from their families, special occasions can be particularly challenging. Often, women report feeling disconnected from society, invisible and alone. A Shoebox gift is a powerful reminder for a woman that she has not been forgotten and that she remains a valued and respected member of her community.

For those giving gifts, The Shoebox Project is a tangible and creative opportunity to give back directly to someone in your very own community. It’s a small, simple gesture of kindness that has an immediate, positive impact on the woman who receives it.

During this event, you will get a chance to sip on local wine , have a snack, chat with friends, learn about the Shoebox Project AND pack a box filled with goodies for a woman in need at a local shelter. You will also have the opportunity to write a personalized note.

$50 of your ticket price goes towards the items in the box. The remainder of the ticket price goes towards wine and chef's choice of appetizers.

1 glass of wine, coffee, tea and chef's choice of appetizers are included in the ticket.
