Somerset Theatre Arts (STA) Academy is a performing arts school based in Somerset. We offer vibrant, fun and inclusive classes for young people aged 4 - 18 years to discover the joy of performing arts, creativity and expression. We provide a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and grow.
Each fun-packed session will enable your child to explore performing arts, build confidence and self esteem and to enjoy being part of a creative group in a friendly and supportive environment.
We firmly believe that every student is capable of even more than they believe they are and we give them the tools and the stage to unlock that potential. We give our students the opportunity to not only develop new talents and skills but to also build confidence, develop teamwork skills and make new friends.
Whether your child is taking their first steps in the world of Performing Arts or pursuing a future career in theatre, Somerset Theatre Arts Academy offers the opportunity for all pupils to grow and shine.
We offer group classes led by industry professionals with extensive experience of teaching and performing. They are dedicated to providing the highest quality education and training to our students. We offer a range of classes for different ages and skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Our current programs offer singing, acting and dance for age groups from 4 - 6, 7 - 10, 11 - 14 and 14 - 18 year olds. Our experienced instructors are passionate about helping students develop their craft and achieve their goals.
Students will work towards performing end of term performances and culminating in musical theatre shows.
The safety and wellbeing of our students is our first priority at Somerset Theatre Arts Academy and we take safeguarding very seriously. All staff have up to date enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks.
