Two days of Iwama basics; bokken, jo and taijutsu. Informed by connected internals and an understanding of Aiki, practiced in the three steps of Kihon, Awase and Ki no Nagare, ie Ko-tai, Ju-tai and Ryu-tai; Solid, Soft and Flow.
Learn of the Uke-Nage relationship in training, and understand its nuances.
With Aikido Alive U.K. and Bjorn Saw Sensei, 5 dan Aikikai, Saturday and Sunday in Wells, county Somerset, U.K.
Saturday 11-1:30, 2:30-5.
Sunday 10-12:30, 1:30-4.
