We've all got bits of silver--broken pieces, trimmings, and failed projects. Turn unwanted scrap silver into new usable material like a pro in this brand new workshop! Melt it, pour it, draw it and roll it--learn to sort and prepare scrap silver, prepare a crucible, melt and pour metal into a variety of ingots and mill new sheet and wire. Save money on refining and fabrication costs and get exactly the materials you need! Class fee of $180 includes a crucible with holder for you to keep. Instructor: Julie SanfordSTUDENTS MUST BRING at least 1 oz of scrap silver--traditional sterling, fine silver or scrap metal clay material (can be a combination). Silver can be purchased from the studio if needed.
