After a series of sold-out workshops in 2024, Ged Palmer is excited to announce a new series of workshops at the historic Art Workers' Guild in Central London.

This workshop focuses on developing"Casual" Lettering styles in the traditional signwriting method. Perfect for both beginners and professionals, it covers essential brush control and techniques for this expressive single-stroke style, commonly used in signwriting, commercial lettering, and other artistic disciplines. Past participants have come from backgrounds in scenic art, graphic design, calligraphy, type design, illustration, and fine arts.

Workshop Details
Students will learn and refine their brush lettering techniques under expert guidance. The workshop covers five different versions of casual giving you a bredth of styles to work with in the future. Participants will also have the opportunity to design their own hand-painted sign, exploring layout, color theory, and effects. Whether for personal projects or a career in lettering, this workshop is a great way to expand your skills and creative potential.
