Sickle Cell Blood and Winter Care Package Drive

Councilmembers Dr. Brittany Jones and Theresa Morris, in partnership with the Scott Center for Observation, Treatment and Transition invite you to participate in our upcoming Sickle Cell Blood and Winter Care Package Drive.
This community event is dedicated to increasing awareness of sickle cell disease, encouraging lifesaving blood donations, and providing valuable resources and support to individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease.
In addition to the blood drive, we will be conducting a Winter Care Package Drive to support individuals living with and without sickle cell disease. Donations will be used to assemble care packages containing items such as:
Warm clothing i.e.: hats, gloves, scarves and socks
Blankets
School supplies
Epsom salt
Personal care and comfort items
Other wellness-related necessities
