SHTC "Vets Tournament 2024"

The Veteran's tournament will run from 3rd May with finals day on Saturday the 15th June.

Players, Men and Ladies have to be 50 years of age by the 3rd of May, at the first day of the tournament.

Registration will be through Eventbrite. There will be a £6 entry for the Vets Tournament. Entry fee will include all disciplines - singles, double and mixed double.

The deadline for the Veterans is 28th of April at 12pm. DONT MISS IT!!

PLAYERS WHO DO NOT REGISTER BY THESE DATES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY (NO EXCEPTION).

After your registration for the VETERANS TOURNAMENT and payment, players must email Ibby at [email protected]

listing the disciplines you would like to take part in (single, double and or mix double) and your partners in doubles and mixed doubles if competing in those events.

- 90 minutes of court booking will be allowed when you play a tournament match.

-Double matches may be played during Weds evening and Weekend afternoon club sessions.

- For all the matches from 1st Round until the Quarter-Finals , a super 10-point tiebreaker will decide the winner if the match is level at one set each. A super tie break is just like a regular tiebreaker but played to 10 points with a lead margin of 2 points.

- Semi-Finals and Finals, the matches will be the best of 3 full sets.

- In case Players don't have time to finish the match in 90 minutes they will be allowed to finish it another time within 2 days of their first match and from the score they were when they run out of time.

April 28: deadline for entries

May 02: draw published

May 03: tournament begins

June 15: Final's Day (Contingency weather day Sunday 19th)
