Join Steve McNeil and Michael Cutts for a mystifying afternoon, as they use Victorian scientific equipment to explore spooky tales
About this Event

Do you believe in ghosts? Steve McNeil (WiFi Wars) is in the strange situation of not believing in ghosts, but having seen one, twice! Earlier this year, while working with Mike Cutts (Ri Demo team) he heard tell of the Royal Institution's strange historical relationship with the paranormal.
Join Steve and Michael for a spooky science adventure in the Faraday Theatre as they explore mysterious tales from history where science and the unexplained seem to meet. Using objects from the Royal Institution’s collection, they’ll recreate fascinating experiments and investigate how Victorian scientists tried to understand strange sights, sounds, and ghostly encounters. Could there be a scientific explanation for every spooky story? Or are some mysteries still waiting to be solved?
Filled with surprising demonstrations, curious historical tales, and a Halloween atmosphere, this show is perfect for inquisitive young minds who love science, mystery, and a little bit of spookiness.
