Shrewsbury Repair Cafe

Why not come along to the Shrewsbury Repair Café on Saturday 15th February for our Valentine Special, where we may not be able to mend any broken hearts but we will mend your broken items.

Meeting at the St. Nicholas Hall of Shrewsbury United Reformed Church, we open our doors at 10am and will close at 2pm. Our talented team of volunteers will aim to repair all your household items that are broken or not working or torn or frayed.

You can bring along:

· Small electrical appliances

· Power and mechanical tools

· Clothing & textiles

· Small furniture

· Clocks

· Ornaments

· Jewellery

· Toys

· Household items

Please bring your items along between 10am and 12 noon – we do not have a booking system but operate a first come first repaired procedure. While you wait, you can enjoy the refreshments, meet all the volunteers and watch all the repairs taking place, possibly picking up a few skills yourself. All items must be collected by 1.30pm.

There is no charge for any of our services, but donations are always welcome to cover our ongoing costs.

There is free parking at the venue for users of the Repair Café and there is full disabled access and facilities at the venue. If you require the disabled entrance, please advise us before hand or alert a member of the team, so we can direct you to the entrance.
