The 60th Anniversary Shrewley Village Show takes place on Sunday 7th September at Shrewley Village Hall and grounds. It is a vibrant and well supported show being a traditional flower show with exhibits including vegetables, fruit, flowers and floral art, photography, handicrafts, home produce and brewing, with a separate section for Juniors from under 5 to 15 years old. Outside in the grounds there is a barbecue from lunchtime through the whole afternoon together with the very popular tea tent, and plenty of amusements to keep everyone occupied during the afternoon including bowling, an egg throwing competition and numerous other side show attractions.
It is a wonderful afternoon out for the whole family, well supported by the local community and further afield. The social event of the late summer calendar each year not to be missed.
Competition for the sought after trophies in each exhibit section is fiercely contested each year, with prizes for exhibitors in each and every category.
