We’re back for more fun-filled hobby horse competition with a full day of exciting classes! Whether you're joining us again or galloping in for the first time, we can t wait to welcome you.What to Expect:
Registration at 10:00am. Classes start at 10:30am. Two competition rings running all day.
Ring One: Show Jumping - classes starting at 30cm, up to 60cm. Jump over a course of jumps set at class height. All clear rounds go into a jump off against the clock! 30 cm and 40 cm will be split into age groups; 10 and under and over 10.
Ring Two:
Best Turned Out - Show us your sparkle! Judged on how fabulous you and your hobby horse look. Fancy dress entirely appropriate!
Mounted Games - Fast, fun and full of energy! Test your speed, balance and agility – all on hobby horseback!
Barrel Racing - Weave, turn and gallop your way around the barrels! It’s a race against the clock – speed and control win the day!
Jousting - Ready, aim... charge! Ride straight and true to strike the target with your lance – a fun-filled test of accuracy, balance, and boldness!
Dressage to Music - Show off your best moves in style to a song of your choice. Impress the judges with your range and accuracay of movements along with your creativity!
Grand National -Gallop like a champion over a thrilling course of jumps – can you make it to the finish line without a wobble? It’s all the fun of the famous race, hobby horse style! Riders race in groups of 3 with medals as prizes.
Chase Me Charlie - How high can you go? The jumps keep rising – the crowd keeps cheering! A test of courage, bounce, and boldness… will you be the last rider standing?
🏅 All riders will receive a well-done rosette, with placings awarded from 1st to 6th in each class. And if you win a class? You’ll automatically go forward to compete for the coveted Best in Show title!
🎟️ Entry Fees: £10 per class
4 classes for £35
6 classes for £50
Or go all in with unlimited classes for just £75!
Pre-booking is recommended, but we’ll accept entries on the day if classes aren’t full. Please note that when booking online you are charged a small booking fee per class, so we recommend booking via Classes 13, 14 or 15, these are the multi-buy classes and mean you only pay one booking fee for multiple classes!
☕ Farriers Fayre Food Van will be selling hot food and refreshments.
🪑 Spectators are welcome — take a seat in the indoor gallery or bring your own comfy deckchair to enjoy the view if you want to be closer to the action. 🐶
