Zum Abschluss ihrer "Tanz meets ... Special"-Residenz in der Tanz Station geben die Tänzer:innen Julia Kayser und Théo Vanpop (Kompanie "Empty Rooms") im Rahmen eines Showings Einblicke in ihre künstlerische Arbeit.

„Warm Weight“ ist ein zeitgenössisches Tanzduo, das von Julia Kayser und Théo Vanpop, den Choreograf:innen und Darstellenden von "Empty Rooms", ins Leben gerufen wurde.
Das Stück bietet eine körperliche Sprache, die zwischen den Zwängen unserer sozialen Masken und dem aufrichtigen Impuls unserer Instinkte und Emotionen oszilliert. In drei unterschiedlichen Akten erforschen die Tänzer:innen das Gleichgewicht zwischen dem Ego als kreativer Kraft und als Hindernis, das es zu überwinden gilt.
„Warm Weight“ ist eine Einladung, den Körper und das Schöpferische in ihren wesentlichsten Formen neu zu überdenken.
✨ Im Anschluss an das Showing sind alle herzlich eingeladen, in entspannter Atmosphäre mit den Resident:innen ins Gespräch zu kommen, Fragen zu stellen und Eindrücke zu teilen.

At the end of their "Tanz meets … Special" residency at Tanz Station, Julia Kayser und Théo Vanpop (Kompanie "Empty Rooms") will give insights into their artistic work as part of a showing.

“Warm Weight” is a contemporary dance duo initiated by Julia Kayser and Théo Vanpop, choreographers and performers of Empty Rooms.
The piece offers a physical language that oscillates between the constraints of our social masks and the sincere impulse of our instincts and emotions. Through three distinct acts, the dancers explore the balance between the ego as a creative force and as an obstacle to overcome.
“Warm Weight” is an invitation to rethink the body and creation in their most essential forms.
✨ Following the showing, everyone is welcome to chat with the residents in a relaxed atmosphere, ask questions and share impressions.
