WORKSHOP:
Wil je graag mee-jammen met Shovel Dance Collective? Voor de gelegenheid stelt het negenkoppige collectief een repetitie open voor vijftien gastmuzikanten. Speel je een instrument of zing je graag? Zet je dan bij in de cirkel van de band voor een groepsimprovisatie van twee uur. Iedereen is welkom. Voor deze workshop is geen voorkennis, niveau of speciale technieken vereist. Het enige dat van belang is, is dat je enige affiniteit hebt met de muziek van Shovel Dance Collective, of met volksmuziek, jazz, improvisatie of avontuurlijke (post)rock in het algemeen. Elke muzikant gaat op in het geheel, alles is vrijblijvend en binnen je eigen comfortzone.

Would you like to jam with Shovel Dance Collective? For this occasion, the nine-piece collective is opening up a rehearsal to fifteen guest musicians. Do you play an instrument or enjoy singing? Then join the band's circle for a two-hour group improvisation session. Everyone is welcome. No prior knowledge, level or special techniques are required for this workshop. The only thing that matters is that you have some affinity with the music of Shovel Dance Collective, or with folk music, jazz, improvisation or adventurous (post)rock in general. Every musician becomes part of the whole, everything is non-committal and within your own comfort zone.
