Shoshana D. Kerewsky- The Codex of Christian Surname
About this Event
In an alternate late Middle Ages, an intriguing stranger arrives in 13-year-old Ḥavah's village in the Iverian mountains. Ḥavah's life will change, but is the visitor who she seems? Sometimes dressed as male and in other guises, Ḥavah traverses the region, explores the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, and learns more about her own Xudish culture and those of Cristianismo, Islama, and Budism. She discovers the world is vaster than she could have imagined.
A retired psychologist and faculty member, Shoshana writes poetry, fiction, lyrical nonfiction, memoir, essay, and haibun and is widely published. Her books include the award-winning memoir Cancer, Kintsugi, Camino and 50 Days in May: Reflections Along the Camino de Santiago. She is working on her 6th book. Shoshana is a Chuckanut Writers instructor.
