About this Event
As part of the third edition of the Princeton French Film Festival, you're invited to the screening of a selection of short movies by Kourtrajmé School followed by a Q&A with Yassine Ramdani.
Opened in 2018 in the French suburbs of Clichy-sous-Bois / Montfermeil, Kourtrajmé offers free training in screenwriting, directing, acting, and visual arts — accessible to all, with no diploma or age requirements. Since then, sister schools have opened in Marseille (KourtrajMars) in 2020, Dakar in 2022, the Caribbean (Guadeloupe) in 2023, and soon in New York City. These schools aim to train a new generation of filmmakers and bring fresh, diverse perspectives to French cinema.
Practical information:
Open to everyone upon registration. In French with English subtitles, the screenings will start at 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 6th, 2025, and will last approximately 60 minutes. Doors open at 4:45 PM.
