A day of shopping, sipping and supporting animals in need benefitting the Houston SPCA and the 2026 Howl-O-Ween Ball.

The Houston SPCA is partnering with The Hive – A Pop-Up Collective, located at 2431 Rice Boulevard, Houston, TX 77005, for a special Tax-Free Weekend shopping event benefiting animals in need on Saturday, August 8. The event will support Houston SPCA’s mission while building excitement for the Houston SPCA’s 2026 Howl-O-Ween Ball.

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., guests can shop a curated collection of women-owned businesses, with 15% of all sales donated to support the Houston SPCA’s lifesaving programs and services. The event will also feature complimentary mimosas and bubbly throughout the day.

From 2 to 4 p.m., shoppers can meet adoptable pets from the Houston SPCA, connect with the organization’s Community Outreach Team and meet 2026 Howl-O-Ween Ball Chairs Grace and George Lane.
