Join Shirley Kazuyo Muramoto for a FREE KOTO WORKSHOP & GATHERING at the Buddhist Church Of San Francisco on Sat Feb 01 2025 at 10:30 AM! Learn about the beautiful Japanese instrument, the koto, and enjoy a fun and interactive workshop with fellow music enthusiasts. Free workshop includes:
• Beginners koto orientation
• Checkup of your koto’s condition
• Performances by teachers and students
• Group playing of song “Rokudan”
• Music therapy for mental health

If you have a koto, please bring it.
Kotos will be evaluated.
"Rokudan no Shirabe" will be played with koto, shamisen and shakuhachi.
Lunch is provided for all registered attendees.
