Shelter Supervisor - (Class 2 of 2)

Both class are "classroom only" learning. This is a joint training opportunity for residents and volunteers of Los Altos and Los Altos Hills.

Shelter Fundamentals (Class 1 of 2) is required for Shelter Supervisor (Class 2 of 2).

The American Red Cross Shelter Supervisor course will prepare volunteers to manage daily operations, lead response teams, and oversee functional areas or shifts within an emergency disaster shelter. It builds leadership skills, tracks the shelter lifecycle, and addresses client assistance. Completion of the Shelter Fundamentals Prerequisite (Class 1 of 2) is highly recommended.
