Shelter House Society Tours and ReEnactments - Part of Emmaus 250 Celebration

The Shelter House Society is excited to present live reenactments of the revolutionary war from the 243 Regiment.
Reenactments will be held at 10, 1 and 3PM.
From 1734 on, the Shelter House provided refuge to pioneers and settlers. Today, this colonial Germanic cabin stands as one of the oldest continuously inhabited log structures in the Lehigh Valley. Tours of this historic property will also be available throughout the days festivities.
Not sure how to get to the Shelter House? Hop on the free shuttle bus at 2nd and Main Street to easily visit all of the historical sites throughout the Borough during the Emmaus 250th Celebration.
