Mooresville Arts & Events is proud to welcome Shelley Ruffin "The Sounds of Memphis" to the Joe V. Knox Auditorium on Saturday, March 7, 2026, as part of the 2025–2026 Our Town Stage Entertainment Series.
Born and raised in Memphis with music in her DNA, Shelley Ruffin brings a soulful blend of gospel, R&B, rock, and country to every performance. Influenced by legends like Patsy Cline, Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Nicks, Marvin Gaye, and Elvis, she delivers a sound shaped by the rich musical landscape of her hometown and a lifetime surrounded by melody. From early days singing in church to sharing stages at The Ryman Auditorium, Bluebird Cafe, Nissan Stadium, and more, Shelley has built a career rooted in authenticity, emotion, and undeniable Southern soul.
