You're invited to She Surfs: An Evening of Waves, Play, and Connection! Join us at Liquid Dreams Surf Shop on August 6th, 2026 at 5:30 PM for a night of fun and community.
She Surfs is your invitation to laugh, play, and connect while trying something new (or returning to something you love). Whether you're a seasoned surfer or it's your very first time on a board, this night is all about flowing forward together, with zero pressure and plenty of joy.
You’ll enjoy private surf instruction just for our group, led by supportive and fun instructors who’ll help you paddle out and catch some waves (or just wobble around and laugh a lot).
After the surf session, we’ll gather on the beach to savor:
- Sips from mainelove
- Pizza from Flatbread, Porstmouth
- Genuine time to connect with new friends
- Golden hour on the beach
Plan to bring:
- Bathing suit
- Towel
- Change of clothes if you'd like
- Water bottle
- Snacks to share & enjoy post-surf if you'd like
This is more than a surf night, it’s a celebration of trying, flowing, and showing up exactly as you are.

The mainelove Story - Founded by 12th-generation Mainers and passionate advocates for their home state, mainelove was created to celebrate Maine’s natural resources and give back to the communities that make it special. Through partnerships with local craft brewers, the team has helped breweries expand their revenue opportunities by canning Maine’s incredible water in highly recyclable aluminum cans, offering a sustainable alternative to single-use plastic. plastic while honoring the environment they all call home.
About Our Source - mainelove is proudly sourced from Maine's Sebago Lake watershed, one of the nation’s most protected and rigorously monitored environments. The secret to this exceptional quality lies in the surrounding land: the watershed is surrounded by 84% forest cover, which serves as a natural filter. We describe our source as Forest Filtered because these protected woods act as a massive natural sponge, cleaning rain and snowmelt long before it ever reaches the lake. Because of this natural infrastructure, the source is so fundamentally exceptional that the local water district holds a rare EPA exemption from filtration (a distinction earned by only about 50 of the 13,000 surface water supplies in the U.S.) Furthermore, we are tapping into a deeply abundant resource. Sebago holds nearly a trillion gallons of water, meaning our footprint is a fraction of a fraction of the watershed's natural daily flow.
Flatbread
Flatbread Company is located in the heart of Portsmouth, just a few steps down from Market Square. We make artisanal flatbread pizzas using mostly all organic and local ingredients; all baked on our wood fired clay oven. Our purpose is to create a restaurant where children, adults and employees may renew their spirit. With the quality and integrity of ingredients we wanted to create a company that supports our local farms. Part of our mission at Flatbread Company is to also support local organizations that have an impact on our community. Every Tuesday night we hold Benefit Bakes for those organizations.
Liquid Dreams
Born in the spring of 1996, Liquid Dreams Surf Shop opened it's doors in Ogunquit, Maine and quickly became Maine's largest surf shop. 8 years later, they opened the shop in York! Liquid Dreams Surf Shop has a full staff of core surf instructors that are stoked to get you up and riding. Whether you are a beginner looking to ride your first wave or looking to progress in the sport of surfing, you'll get what you need!
The She Flows Collective X Liquid Dreams lesson will offer:
