In a world that demands women always be "on," She Came to Chill is your permission slip to simply be. We are bringing back the "village" by activating our local third spaces, creating a sanctuary where connection happens naturally, without the pressure of formal networking or high costs.
For this special May edition, we are thrilled to partner with DFW Black Moms Walking. This is a multi-generational space designed for peace and presence, so bring the babies.
The Experience
We have curated a morning dedicated to nervous system regulation and collective rest:
• Kemetic Yoga Flow: Led by I’sha Gaines, founder of HoneyBe Natural Institute. This ancient practice focuses on geometric progression and breath control to align the body and spirit.
• Healing Sound Bath: Immerse yourself in a restorative auditory journey led by Euphemia Speaks, designed to wash away tension and ground your energy.
• The Chill Time: After our movement and meditation, the floor is yours. We’re reclaiming the park as a space for authentic community for women of all ages.
What to Bring
To make the most of our time together, please pack your "chill kit":
• ✨ A comfortable blanket or yoga mat
• ✨ Your favorite snacks and refreshments
• ✨ Lawn games or activities to share
• ✨ An open heart and a readiness to rest
Why "Third Spaces"?
A third space is anywhere that isn't home (the first space) or work (the second space). It is a vital ingredient for a healthy community. By gathering at the park, we are intentionally weaving a social fabric that prioritizes human connection and restorative play.
