Shared Reading at Grimm & Co

Shared Reading groups bring people together through great literature to talk, laugh and share. Just drop in and enjoy listening to a story or poem – there is no pressure to talk or read and it's a lovely, relaxing way to spend an hour.

It’s not a book club – no reading in advance is necessary and, as we read everything aloud, you can just sit back and listen. Louise will read the poem or story, and if you'd like to, you can chat about how it makes you feel, what you like (or dislike!) about it, or just anything that it makes you think of! You can also just sit and enjoy being read to if you want!

The sessions will take place in the Emporium of Stories in the Feastery Cafe. Food and drinks are available to purchase if you wish.

The sessions will take place every Wednesday morning at 10am and will last for approximately 45 minutes-1 hour. It is aimed at adults of any age and all are welcome.

This is an ongoing group. We meet every Wednesday morning but there is no pressure to attend every week - just come along whenever you are free!
