As intelligence becomes embedded within infrastructures and systems that shape everyday life, what is the role of the designer?
About this Event

As technologies become embedded within active decision making process and distributed across the infrastructures and systems that shape everyday life, often without public awareness, the future of creative practice is being increasingly shaped by these same forces.

Bringing together designers, artists and researchers working across computational creativity, AI and digital culture, this conversation moves beyond technology simply as a design tool. Instead it asks how designers are reappropriating, questioning and reshaping emerging technologies whilst embracing the uncertainty. The talk considers design as a catalyst for negotiation and transformation, where futures emerge through the choices and collaborations that shape them.

Moderator: Pita Arreola

Speakers: Harry Kumar (Moth Quantum), Betty Lu (field.io), Tobias Revell, Stanislas Chaillou (Rayon)

This session is supported by Session Partner Rayon.
