Share Your Sheffield Story

Mount Move invites Sheffield residents to a special community storytelling event where real stories from our city can be shared and preserved for future generations.

We are especially looking for older adults aged 45+ who would like to share their life experiences and memories of Sheffield.

Story contributors aged 45+ will receive a £100 voucher as appreciation for their time if they attend both sessions:

14th March 2026 – First Story Session

2nd May 2026 – Community Showcase

Venue: The Circle, 33 Rockingham Ln, Sheffield City Centre, S1 4FW

Time: 1:00 PM

This is a friendly community event where:

• Older adults share their stories

• Young people learn storytelling and interview skills

• Sheffield’s heritage and experiences are preserved

Other attendees will receive a Certificate of Participation.

Feel free to invite friends, family, or older adults who may have interesting Sheffield stories to share.
