About this Event
Please note: This workshop will be run in the Writers Workshop in Orchard Square, Sheffield, and also online on Zoom for those who cannot attend in person.
In this session, we'll be writing our memories of animals - from our first pets to our most amazing encounters with wildlife. Big and small, perhaps even a little bit scary, we will remember the animals we have loved, and write about why nature is so important to us.
Using a series of prompts and exercises intended to spark your creativity, you'll come away with pieces of writing about the animal kingdom that you can develop, or just enjoy the process of using words to bring memories to life.
The session will be fun, interactive, and sensitive to everyone's needs.
Led by writer Anne Grange of The Writers Workshop, an experienced writer, editor and workshop leader.
Please bring along a photo or something that reminds you of an animal - wild or tame!
