Bio:

Giuseppe De Gregorio (aka Joe De Gregorio) is an award-winning jazz pianist, composer, vocalist, and educator from Rome, Italy. He won first prize at both the Luca Flores Jazz Piano Competition (Florence, 2009) and the Monte Carlo International Jazz Soloist Competition (Monaco, 2015).

Joe began leading his first jazz trio in 2004 and has since built a 20-year international career across three continents. He has performed extensively in Italy, North Africa (2009–2019), Paris (2012–2015), and New York (2016–present), collaborating with artists like Ari Hoenig, Joel Frahm, and Jonathan Blake.

In 2024, he released Interrogations and Investigations, celebrating his trio’s 20th anniversary, and was invited to perform at the Detroit Jazz Festival. In early 2025, he recorded For Blues’ Sake at Van Gelder Studio with Ron Carter and Peter Erskine—a double album honoring the blues roots of jazz.
