Shanna in a Dress is a witty, heart-on-sleeve singer-songwriter whose clever lyrics and disarming honesty make people laugh, cry, and fall a little in love with awkward truths. Based in St. Louis by way of Boulder and Nashville, she blends folk, pop, storytelling, and comedy, earning comparisons to John Prine, Sara Bareilles, and the irreverent charm of Steve Poltz. Shanna tours nationally, leads songwriting challenges, and inspires creatives through her transformational coaching work. She’s currently releasing music from her upcoming album Sweet Spot, filled with humor, vulnerability, and melodies that somehow make heartbreak feel like a celebration.

The potluck is optional, but it is a great chance to connect others in the audience and maybe even share a meal with the artist. It also helps ensure the artist isn't having to have a meal from a gas station. We'll provide the plates, bowls, silverware, napkins, and, if you need it, serving spoons. Feel free to bring anything you'd like--an entrée, appetizer, dessert, or drink to share. Bring something you will enjoy eating, because if you enjoy it, it is likely others will as well.
