Shakti Pop-Up: An Exploration of Breath*

Breathwork is one of the body's strongest healing tools. It can lower blood pressure, reduce heart rate, decrease stress hormones, oxygenate the blood, exercise the lungs, increase physical and mental energy, and improve immunity. It can also help heal symptoms of anxiety, depression and long-held emotional trauma.

There are about as many ways to do breathwork as there are flavors of ice cream. Come sample a new "flavor" with every class! This experience is deeper than an Intro class, yet not a full-on session. We'll touch on Functional Breathing, Pranayama, focused breath, meditative breath and more. A unique experience each time! Come prepared to explore the possibilities.

Shakti Pop-Ups are simple events and activities created and hosted by Shakti members for Shakti members. Our plan is to offer a variety of fun events and activities throughout the quarter that we hope will cover a wide range of interests and experiences.

Pop-Ups will provide additional opportunities for fun, social interaction, and community building (and probably include snacks).

Cindy is following a dream which has moved her from Northern Utah to the beautiful Smoky Mountains. She's currently living off-grid in a forest holler 😉 and is loving being so close to Nature.
