Join us for a lively evening of open-air theatre as Mapperton partners with the Castle Theatre Company to present Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor. Set against the stunning backdrop of Mapperton Gardens, this much-loved comedy is filled with mischief, romance and quick-witted scheming.Follow the antics of Sir John Falstaff as he attempts to woo two clever wives, only to find himself hilariously outmatched at every turn. Expect laughter, playful deception and plenty of theatrical charm in this joyful summer performance.
The performance will take place on the Croquet Lawn, so please bring picnic blankets or chairs to enjoy the show in comfort. Refreshments will be available throughout the evening, with the Coach House Café and bar open for drinks to enjoy during the performance.
Ticket Prices:
Admission: £20
Concession 60+: £15
In the event of bad weather, the performance will be moved indoors, ensuring the evening can go ahead whatever the forecast.
Well-behaved dogs on short leads are very welcome to attend the performance.
