Leonian Dream with Lota and Saff Juno

Join us for the first two gigs of a series showcasing the best up-and-coming bands from across the South West, curated by West Dorset’s own Leonian Dream.
Off the back of a successful self-organised headline gig at the BAC last year, we’ve invited Leonian Dream back to curate a unique residency. They’ve scoured the region to find the best burgeoning southwest artists to play alongside them on 17 July, 26 September, and 21 November. Building on a long legacy of championing new work and playing our part in launching creative careers, Bridport Arts Centre are committed to supporting emerging talent. Join us to help celebrate the energy and vibrancy of these new exciting artists.
Leonian Dream are joined for the evening by Lota and Saff Juno.
Lota formed in 2024 and are an original indie/funk rock four-piece from the South West. Looking to release more new music soon, the boys are excited to be sharing their self-produced tunes on Spotify, Soundcloud and Bandcamp.
Saff Juno is an upcoming artist on the South West music scene who has constant support from BBC Introducing: with a spot playing Boardmasters 2024, doing an acoustic ‘Artist in Session’ for their Artist Spotlight, and gaining Track of the Week for debut EP title track, ‘Escaped the Box’. With compelling lyrical themes of feminism and mental health, and dynamic live sets, Saff Juno enchants fans with her timeless voice and catchy, danceable indie-pop. Saff’s music has themes of empowerment, especially for women, and is often referred to as “an indie-pop fairy”.
Leonian Dream return this November with an evening full of soulful vibes. Joining them will be emerging artist Kate Hall and local musician George Hall. Expect an evening full of different genres blending Roots Rock, Indie Rock and Soulful Indie Pop together. See our website for details.
