Drax of Drax Hall: Researching the Landed Gentry in Britain and The Caribbean

Have you ever wondered about the "Great Wall of Dorset" that runs along the A31 near Wimborne? Come and learn more at this month's talk at the Bridport History Society. Our guest speaker this month is Dr Paul Lashmar, an investigative journalist and author whose topic will be "Drax of Drax Hall: Researching the Landed Gentry in Britain and The Caribbean."
The meeting will be held at the United Church Hall, East Street, Bridport, DT6 3LJ on Thursday this week (11th June) at 2.15 pm for a 2.30 pm start. Doors open at 2.15 for a prompt 2.30 start. All are welcome. Society members £1pp and all visitors £5pp.
