About Shades of Love (You're On the Eventbrite Page for This Workshop!)

Shades of Love is a pre-Valentine’s narrative wellness workshop that invites participants to explore love in its many forms—love of self, friendship, family, place, creativity, and life itself. Rather than focusing on romantic love, this workshop broadens the lens to honor how care, connection, and meaning show up throughout our lives. Grounded in narrative medicine, the workshop uses reflective writing to support emotional well-being, self-awareness, and meaning-making. Through brief, guided exercises and optional sharing in a supportive, low-pressure environment, participants are invited to explore personal stories with curiosity rather than judgment. The emphasis is on process over polish, making the workshop accessible to writers and non-writers alike.

Participants will leave with practical, gentle narrative practices they can return to during moments of stress, transition, or reflection as part of an ongoing approach to personal wellness.

BONUS: Blanca Bergman (founder, MWA) will supplement Shades of Love by Rebecca Chamaa with self-love and self-care techniques with transformative power and mental health benefits.
