Dewch gyda ni ar daith arbennig iawn ar Reilffordd Cwm Rheidol drwy dirweddau godidog canolbarth Cymru, gan gyfuno creadigrwydd, hanes a golygfeydd anhygoel.
Wedi’i ysbrydoli gan ein harddangosfa newydd Mary Lloyd Jones: Haenau, gadewch i’r golygfeydd ysblennydd ar hyd y daith ysbrydoli eich creadigrwydd, yn union fel y gwnaethant i Mary. Ar hyd y daith wrth i chi sgetshio, darlunio neu ddwdlo’r dirwedd tu allan i’r ffenestr, bydd yr awdur a'r hanesydd lleol Ioan Lord yn cyflwyno sylwebaeth ddifyr a llawn gwybodaeth, gan ddod â hanes a chymeriad yr ardal yn fyw.
Bydd y daith greadigol yn parhau yn Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru ar nos Wener 18 Medi, lle cewch gyfle i drawsnewid eich brasluniau yn weithiau peintiedig yn ystod noson Paentio’r Dirwedd, yng nghwmni bar Yr Almanac.
Does dim angen unrhyw brofiad blaenorol - jest dewch â’ch dychymyg a mwynhewch brynhawn a noson greadigol yng nghwmni ffrindiau neu deulu. Bydd deunyddiau ac offer yn cael eu darparu.
Bydd y trên yn gadael Aberystwyth am 2.00pm ar gyfer y daith awr i Bontarfynach. Yno, bydd gennych 45 munud i grwydro’r pentref a’r rhaeadrau enwog cyn cychwyn y daith yn ôl am 3:45pm.

A Creative Journey in Partnership with The Vale of Rheidol Railway
Join us aboard the Vale of Rheidol Railway for this very special journey through the spectacular landscapes of Mid Wales, combining creativity, history and breathtaking scenery.
Inspired by our new exhibition, Mary Lloyd Jones: Layers, let the changing landscapes and locations that lie along the railway’s route inspire your creativity just as they did with Mary. Sketch, draw or doodle the landscapes unfolding outside your window, while local author and historian Ioan Lord provides a fascinating commentary, bringing the landscape and its history to life.
The creative journey continues at the National Library of Wales on Friday 18 September, where you'll be invited to transform your sketches into painted works during a Painting the Landscape evening, hosted in the company of the Almanac Bar.
No experience is necessary - just bring your imagination and enjoy a creative afternoon and evening with friends or family. All materials will be provided.
The train departs Aberystwyth at 2.00pm for the one-hour journey to Devil’s Bridge. There will be 45 minutes to explore the village and its famous waterfalls before the return journey begins at 3.45pm.
