SF Filmmaker Lamb and Rum fest Volume XI

Post BAMMS end of summer fling (https://www.bammsummit.org), please join Cinemama, BAMMS, the Roxie Theater, BAVC and the filmmaking community as it is time to celebrate our great community and our amazing films--both made and yet to be made! Come join as we gather to imbibe the fuel of the auteur--lamb and rum!!! It's simple math--Lamb+Rum=Oscars!
So come and meet each other and get collaborating! It will be at Pioneer Log Cabin Picnic Area in Golden Gate Park. The closest parking is at the Stow Lake Boathouse parking lot or around Stow Lake. So you have too much lamb and rum, you can get a rowboat right there and work it all off! When I was young, there was an urban legend about the statute of the pioneer woman where we are having the BBQ. The legend goes, if you go up to the statue, look it in the eye, and say "I have your baby" three times it comes to life and starts kicking everyone's ass. I'm telling you this as a warning--do not tempt fate in the outside chance this legend is true! A psychotic pioneer woman statue brought to life would ruin this BBQ! There will be lamb and dark n' stormies, as well as some vegetarian items. Please feel free to bring things to share. Adults, kids and animals are all welcome (but if you're bringing a pet please be careful with them and the lamb bones). Also lawn chairs and picnic blankets are recommended! This is a cool person event exclusively! Also, there is 100% chance that magicians will be circulating at this BBQ--be prepared to have your lamb turn into a dove!So September 27, 2026, prepare to get your lamb on! And if that is not your thing, then prepare to get your rum on! And if that is not your thing (is there such a person?) prepare to get your film on as that is what we're all trying to do!
