In Sewing Basics – Part 2, we’ll focus on practical skills you can use for everyday sewing, repairs and upcycling. We’ll learn which needles to use for different fabrics, how to choose the right fabric, how to use different sewing machine feet, how to make a buttonhole and attach buttons, and which stitches are most useful for everyday fixing and alterations.Then we’ll put everything we’ve learned into practice by creating a denim tote bag from an old pair of jeans. You’ll be able to use your new skills throughout the project and take your finished bag home with you.
