This will be a 3-week class that students can take on a rolling basis. The first 3-week session a student takes, they will learn the parts of a sewing machine, how to thread and use a sewing machine, ironing fabric, measuring and cutting fabric, and some hand sewing skills. They will make a pillowcase and a stuffed turtle. All materials will be provided for the first 3 week session. If they want to learn more, they can sign up for more sessions and they will learn how to make tote bags, PJ pants, and more. Students will need to provide their own material for these projects. This class is for ages 9+.
