Welcome!If you've been following the program of classes you will have just completed the how to use your overlocker class, and be ready to get started on making a real garment!
This is an overlocker and basic pattern making class to create a stretch garment. Use this class to practice your skills and learn knowlage. Yes, you will leave with leggings, but it is the journey of creating them that this class is about as you will learn many skills throughout
We will be doing (but not limited to) the following:
By joining any sewing class with Ariane you get access to my personal facebook sewing group. In this group past students are open to ask questions and share knowledge with each other. Community is what this is all about, as much as sewing
Cost:
This class is $80 due to:
- Less participants than the 'how to use' classes
- Inclusion of consumables : materials, elastic if needed and pattern paper etc
PLEASE NOTE:
•This is a class for you to bring your own machine
•This class teaches transferable skills, you will leave with a pattern and garment. The garment may not be finished depending on time constraints but you will have the knowledge of how to finish it once at home
•This class does not include time for maintenance of your machine if it is not in working order on arrival. If you are confident on the machine and know how to thread it you are welcome to book this course. If you are unsure please chat to Ariane and consider booking onto the how to use your overlocker class first
