Join us to master the mechanics of the sewing machine and engineer a tote bag that carries its own weight!
About this Event

Want to learn how to sew but don't know where to get started? This is the perfect class for you! This class will teach you the basics of sewing giving you some hands-on experience with a sewing machine!

Minimum Age: 8 (all attendees under 12 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult)

Maximum Age: None

Prerequisites: Participants should have basic fine motor skills.

Summary: Attend this session to learn how to use one of our Janome 1522 sewing machines to create your own tote bag! After completing this class you will be certified to use the Janome 1522 sewing machines by yourself at the Innovation Hub. This course will be covering the same content every session, you do not have to attend more than one session unless you want a refresher!
This course requires an enrollment of at least 3 participants.
