Sew Fun: Beginner Sewing Projects for the Home
Four-Week Series | Wednesdays | Ages 16+
Sep 2-23 | 6:00-8:30 PM | $200
You’ve conquered the straight stitch. You’ve even made a pillowcase or two. But now you’re looking at your sewing machine and thinking, “Okay, what’s next?” If that sounds like you, then grab your machine (or borrow one of ours) and join us for Sew Fun, our newest installment of Adult Classes.
Over four weeks, we’ll level up your sewing game with projects that actually teach you something new! We’ll go over darts, casing, elastic, batting, and construction techniques that turn “I can sew a straight line” into “I can sew just about anything.” We’ll sew up a placemat, a microwave bowl cozy, a tote bag, and a grocery sack holder (because your plastic bag stash needs a home)
All supplies provided. Machines available, or bring your own. Whether you’re a sewing newbie ready for the next step or someone who’s been staring at their machine wondering what to make next, this class is for you! You’ll leave full of inspiration and a stack of projects that’ll have your kitchen looking as fresh as you feel!
Spots are limited, so be sure to sign up! 100% of your purchase helps us provide free supplies and support to thousands of teachers!
*Disclaimer: This is not a vendored event. Registration payments are only accepted through Zeffy via our website at my.thewelmanproject.org/adults#list1
