Sometimes you don't need another class—you just need time to SEW!

Sew Chill is a relaxed open-sewing night designed for sewists who want dedicated time to work on their own projects in a fun, creative environment.

Bring that project you've been meaning to finish, start something new, practice your sewing skills, or simply come enjoy sewing alongside other creatives.

✨ WHAT TO EXPECT

• Open sewing time from 6–8 PM
• A relaxed, creative atmosphere
• Space to work on your own sewing project
• Basic assistance when needed
• A chance to connect with other people who enjoy sewing

🧵 WHAT TO BRING

Bring your project and the supplies you need to complete it, including fabric, thread, patterns, notions, scissors, and any other project-specific materials.

Choose the registration option that works best for you:

$15 — Bring Your Own Machine

Bring your sewing machine, project, and supplies.

$25 — Machine Provided

We'll have a sewing machine available for you to use during Sew Chill. You still bring your own project and supplies.

Please note: Sew Chill is an open-sewing experience rather than a structured sewing class. If you're completely new to sewing and need step-by-step instruction, check out one of Sew In Detroit's beginner-friendly classes.
