2026 and we are throwing the workshop open to some experimentation and with this gorgeous take on the maxi dress we think you will be sold! Take a Nap, go to the beach party at home, stroll in the park this dress works it for everyone! We even have had make an adult version by popular demand.
Skill Level: You must have sewn a few projects and asked us if you are up to this class! Not suitable for complete beginners.
• Adventurous Beginner
• Confident Beginner
You must have taken the Sewing Machine Driving Licence or have experience of using a sewing machine to take this class
What you learn:
Make your pattern for your measurements
Lay fabric and cutting skills
Shirring the main stay of the Nap
Honing your machine sewing skills
What you make:
A summer nap dress (or if you prefer a top)
We Provide:
Equipment and pattern details but you must bring 3 meters of cotton(width 140/150cm ) fabric to the class (we do have a small selection also so you can add this to your request when signing up). We suggest a lovely seersucker/gingham or cotton poplin you will need up to 1.5 metres of fabric for a top or for a short dress 2 metres and 3 metres for a longer dress.
Time:
One day 10 – 4.30pm bring your own lunch and drinks
