Seventh Annual Canada Day Drive-by Parade
About this Event
Join MPP Effie Triantafilopoulos for the Seventh Annual Canada Day Drive-by Parade on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, as we celebrate Canada Day and showcase community spirit across Oakville North–Burlington.
First launched in 2020 as a safe way to celebrate Canada Day during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Drive-by Parade has become a meaningful annual tradition. Each year, our convoy visits long-term care and retirement homes in the community to greet seniors, thank frontline healthcare heroes, and share Canadian pride.
This year, there will be two separate parades: one in Oakville and one in Burlington. Participants are welcome to join either parade or both.

We also invite participants to join in singing the national anthem and greeting seniors and staff along the route.
