As a person going through the immigration process or someone with a multicultural background in Finland, have you ever felt overwhelmed or frustrated? You’re not alone!

Amidst the unique challenges we face as immigrants and multicultural individuals in Finland, it’s crucial to find solidarity and understanding. Join us for this exclusive Peer Support Group, where we’ll come together in a safe space to openly share our experiences, discuss challenges, and support one another. Whether you’re looking for a place to vent, connect with others in similar situations, or gain insights to better navigate life in Finland, this is the group for you!

This event offers an opportunity to build community, learn new coping strategies, and foster a sense of belonging.

Who is this for?

• People going through the immigration process, whether you’ve recently arrived in Finland or have been living here for 2 or more years.

• Individuals with a multicultural background seeking a supportive space to discuss personal experiences and challenges.

• Limited to 6-12 participants to ensure a close-knit, interactive group dynamic.
  

What to Expect:

• A welcoming environment to discuss the difficulties and triumphs of life as a person navigating immigration or multiculturalism in Finland.

• Opportunities to learn from others’ experiences and share your own.

• A focus on acquiring new tools and strategies to cope with the everyday challenges of living in a foreign country.

Key Details:

• Dates: Saturdays, 5.10, 19.10, 02.11, 16.11, 30.11, 14.12

• Time: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

• Location: Lapinlahdenpolku 8, Tallipääty (Miitti's Office)

• Duration: 6 sessions (2 hours each)

• Admission: Group will be closed after the second session or once the group reaches 12 participants.
