Come play cards at the Cidery! Games start at 6pm. Join our monthly Setback (aka Pitch) card games. If you want to play but need a refresher, let us know and come early for some example play.
Each night is its own event; so whether you're a regular or want to just jump in, we have space for everyone here! Individual results are being tracked, but not team results, and it's all just for fun anyways. So come alone or with a friend.
Each player pays $5 CASH ONLY to enter. Random hat selection to determine who is paired together to start (no pre-assigned teams) then everyone rotates from there after every 7 hands over six rounds. Everyone plays all night; no elimination. The winner gets half the pot, the other half goes to help spay/neuter cats in town or for Stafford Animal Control supplies.
The taproom is not a huge room so the game is limited to the first 28 people to sign up and pay. A full list of game rules will be posted in the taproom. We do things the Cidery way so have fun and enjoy!
If you have never played, we'll probably ask you to watch a few rounds without playing. Setback is not the type of game you can expect to play well the first time around. :)
