Mae’r pedwarawd o Sheffied, Sister Wives wedi bod yn plethu hanesion ffeministaidd a chwedlau ers eu sefydliad yn 2018. Mae setiau dwyieithog bywiog yn cymysgu harmonïau swynol gyda cerddoriaeth seicadelaidd a gwerin asid arbrofol.

Cafodd eu halbwm cyntaf Y Gawres ei enwebu am Wobr Cerddoriaeth Cymru yn 2023 tra bod ei can mwyaf diweddar Yn Canu wedi cael cryn dipyn o ddiddordeb gan y cyfryngau Cymraeg a Saesneg tra bod Malady wedi dod yn anthem gwyliau cerddorol amgen dros yr Haf.

Bydd hwn yn gyfle i weld un o bandiau mwyaf cyffroes y sin Cymro Curio ac I glywed rhai o ganeuon oddi a ei hail albwm hir ddisgwyliedig .

Hailing from Sheffield , Bi Lingual quartet Sister Wives have created an impressive discography since their beginnings in 2018. Their compositions weave wild tales braiding the Welsh and English language that focuses on forgotten feminist histories through myth and landscape. Their haunting 4 part harmonies are filtered through a wash of psychedelia, avant space rock and ferocious fuzz-laden folk.

Their debut album ‘Y Gawres’ was nominated for the prestigious Welsh Music Prize in 2023, whilst their recent songs Yn Canu has gained positive press from both Welsh and English radio whilst Malady has become an alternative hard rocking anthem for this summer’s festivals.

This will be an opportunity to see one of the most vibrant bands in the “Cymro Curio” scene and to hear new songs from their upcoming sophomore album.
