'Seriously Playful' is a clowning and improvisation workshop established in London, and now visiting a town near you!We are coming to Community House in Bromley on Saturday 23rd November, 10.30-2.30pm
This workshop takes you through a process developed by Marina Sossi that is suitable for all people, particularly those who are more sensitive. This begins with releasing tension in the body, moving and vocalising and slowly returning yourself to a more natural state of play, creative expression and freedom. We challenge the habitual and restrictive adult states we have learnt and been conditioned by and rediscover the wonder and awe of our lived experience and the power of authentic connection. You don’t have to be funny or clever or a performer to take part.
Clowning, challenges us to:
*Claim the moment and follow it
*Remove the masks and roles that contain and restrict us
*Trust in the chaotic nature of life
*Dare to relate honestly
*Explore, express and celebrate every part of ourselves
In taking these risks we are richly rewarded:
