About this Event

La Residencia: no me dejan quedarme aquí events is part of , bringing film screenings and art talks into the gallery. The program highlights Hurricane María, debt, displacement, and protest, while centering voices from Borikén/Puerto Rico. It pushes against colonial myths, keeping alive the voices and futures that such scripts attempt to silence. This day we will be showing a series of micro-documentaries by independent Boricua journalist Bianca Graulau.
List of short-documentaries:

Description: Our investigation found that the government of Puerto Rico is allowing the fast-tracking of construction projects that potentially threaten Culebra's ecosystems.

4th: The Young Puerto Ricans Returning to the Land (14min runtime)

6th: We Sued the Puerto Rican Government to Obtain these Documents (13.5min runtime)
